Celebrate the Tampa Bay arts scene at New Tampa Performing Arts Center’s 2024 Annual Fall Festival. 

On Thursday, Sept. 12, through Sunday, Sept. 15, NTPAC will present outstanding performances from Tampa Bay-area artists and interactive events for all ages.

The performance lineup spans music, theatre, dance, comedy, and more. Plus, don’t miss the family-friendly activities like a free screening of Disney’s live-action Aladdin, arts and crafts, and the Florida Orchestra’s instrument petting zoo.

Thursday, Sept. 12

Studio 1
6 PM:
Staff Meet-and-Greet and Tour

Theater
7 PM: Freedom High School Chorus
Led by Amber Faircloth, the Freedom High School Chorus will take the stage in their glittering concert wear for their first performance of the year.

8:15 PM: Jansen Dance Project
Jansen Dance Project returns for another year of musical theatre and dance.

Friday, Sept. 13

5 PM: Wharton High School Music
Wharton High School’s Band will showcase part of their repertoire for the upcoming football season.

6:30 PM: New Tampa Players
A spooky revue in true fall fashion featuring performances from their upcoming musical Little Shop of Horrors and various Halloween-themed songs.

8 PM: ATLAS Modern Ballet
This performance showcases pieces from their latest show, Lore, inspired by ancient Greek mythology.

6:15 PM: Outcast Theatre Collective
Committed to enhancing theatrical diversity, Outcast spotlights underrepresented voices as they bring their stories to life.

Saturday, Sept. 14

10 AM: Screening of Disney’s Live-Action Aladdin

12:45 PM: Wattaka Choral
A choral group that celebrates the musical richness of Venezuela and Latin America.

2 PM: Hillsborough Community College Music Department
Ruthie Nelson, head of the vocal program at HCC, will lead the music department in a wonderful collaboration of voices.

3:30 PM: Trivia with New Tampa Players
Play “Name that Tune” with New Tampa Players.

4:45 PM: Entertainment Revue
Entertainment Revue is an all-girl song and dance ensemble.

6:30 PM: Anna Dance Academy – Traditional Chinese Dance
The Chinese American Association of Tampa will co-present with Anna Dance Academy excerpts of Chinese dance.

8 PM: Tampa City Ballet’s Don Quixote

12-4 PM: Instrument Petting Zoos with The Florida Orchestra and Gasparilla Music Festival
Ever wonder what it’s like to play a violin? A cello? A gong? Join us for the Instrument Petting Zoo, where you can explore, experience and play musical instruments. Open to ages five and up.

Staff Meet-and-Greet and Tour

1:45 PM: Tampa Bay Theatre Festival
In this showcase, the Tampa Bay Theatre Festival presents groups from their 2024 festival in an encore performance.

3 PM: Freedom High School Patriot Players and Wharton High School Theatre presents Jukebox Jam

1:45 PM: Countdown Improv
Countdown Improv will perform an improvised routine with audience participation and many laughs.

3:30 PM: Powerstories Theatre
The Girlstories Leadership Theatre, Powerstories Theatre’s middle-school age program, will perform with company leaders in a powerful, matriarchal performance.

2 PM: Rudram Dance Company
The ancient traditions of classical Indian dance have endured for thousands of years, and the Rudram Dance Company wishes to preserve this rich historical, cultural, and religious context.

3:15 PM: Tampa Brass Band
The Tampa Brass Band is the premier British brass ensemble in Tampa Bay.

4:30 PM: Opera Tampa
Six company members, accompanied by a pianist, will perform favorite pieces from their rich history.

6:30 PM: Cypress Creek Jazz Band
Cypress Creek Jazz Band specializes in New Orleans style jazz!

8:15 PM: Kuumba Dancers and Drummers
Kuumba performs dances from various regions in Africa and through a constellation of music, ceremony, art, and history.
