New Tampa Performing Arts Center Welcomes Steinway & Sons Concert Grand Piano
New Tampa Performing Arts Center has a brand-new concert grand piano! In partnership with Steinway Tampa Bay, The Concert Grand will celebrate the acquisition of a Steinway Model D concert grand piano. Patrons will have the opportunity to hear the world-class instrument through performances from acclaimed Tampa Bay pianists in both jazz and classical disciplines.

Artist include:
Ghadeer Abaido, a Palestinian-Jordanian pianist with extensive experience in the music world, performing classical music as a soloist to collaborating with chamber music groups and orchestras in the Middle East, Europe and the U.S. She’s currently an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida (USF).
Pablo Arencibia, an award-winning pianist who has performed with internationally acclaimed orchestras, including the Caracas Municipal Orchestra and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra. Arencibia has more than 20 years of experience as an educator and currently teaches at USF and at the University of Tampa (UT).
Svetozar Ivanov, a Steinway Artist who has made numerous appearances as a recitalist and orchestra soloist worldwide. He currently serves on the faculty of USF, as well as resident artist at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Vermont, the Brancaleoni Music Festival in Italy, and others.
Simon Lasky, a pianist and composer known on both sides of the Atlantic for his expansive and melodic jazz compositions and arrangements. He is an adjunct faculty music professor at USF and Hillsborough Community College.
Jane West, a pianist and music scholar. An avid performer of 19th century repertoire, her recitals have been heard in the U.S., Poland, and Austria.
Grigorios Zamparas, a pianist who has received critical acclaim for his versatile performing career as a recitalist, orchestra soloist, and chamber musician across the world. He is a professor of music and chair of the UT Music Department.
Free admission. Guests must reserve tickets in advance. Please check in at will call by 7:45 PM at the latest. Arriving after 7:45 may result in forfeiting your seat.
