New Tampa Jazz Nights: James Suggs, a Tribute to Miles Davis

The James Suggs Quintet opens the New Tampa Jazz Nights season with a salute to one of the most influential and innovative artists of all, Miles Davis.
It's a concept the trumpeter began while living in Buenos Aires before coming to the Tampa Bay area, where he has been a galvanizing figure on the jazz scene for a decade.
Suggs will be joined by saxophonist Jeremy Carter, along with the rhythm section known as La Lucha: pianist John O’Leary, bassist Alejandro Arenas, and drummer Mark Feinman.
