New Tampa Unplugged: Johnny G. Lyon

The leader of Tampa’s long-time, good-time, rock ‘n’ roll band sits down for an intimate concert with just Johnny and his guitar. Almost any venue in the Tampa Bay area that has featured live music in the last three decades has hosted the Johnny G. Lyon band including Raymond James Stadium, Tropicana Field, State Theatre, Sun Dome, St Pete Times Forum, Curtis Hixon Hall, The Tampa Theatre and others. Johnny has shared the stage with such greats as B.B. King, James Brown, John Lee Hooker, The Outlaws, Three Dog Night, The Monkees, Greg Allman, and many more. The Johnny G. Lyon Band was named “Best Local Band” by The Tampa Tribune reader’s poll three times. Here he performs solo, just Johnny G. Lyon and his guitar in a very special performance.
